Picnics in Provence was set up in 2007 by Scottish born Nikki Maxwell. She is a passionate cook, Francophile, traveller and mother of 2 adult children who speaks French and Spanish and has lived in various parts of the world including the south of France.

“I have travelled extensively in France throughout the years but started Picnics in Provence after being fortunate enough to spend some time living in this stunningly beautiful, diverse region of France. It is truly off the beaten track and I find I continually look forward to introducing others to its charms, magnificent cuisine, incredible wines, scenery and charming locals”.

Each tour is custom designed and personally accompanied by Nikki, her co-host and a private chef who will share their wealth of knowledge and experience of the area with you to ensure your maximum comfort
